Press Release:

While in New Zealand, playing as part of St. Jeromes Laneway Festival in Auckland, Bailterspace will be performing one Wellington show on Friday 1st of February at the San Francisco Bath House.

Both shows will be with the original line up of Alister Parker, Brent McLachlan and John Halvorsen. Alister and Brent currently live in New York, while John is in Wellington.

Before Bailterspace there was The Gordons. Formed 1980, Christchurch, New Zealand. Future Shock 1981, still electrifying. Then, there was Nelsh Bailter Space.

Over seventeen years Bailterspace mobilized recording technologies to capture audio. They organised noise. Audio was reproduced into seven different longplayer phonographs. Plus manifold extended player (EP) phonographs. Tanker, Thermos, Robot World, Votura, Wammo, Capsul and Solar 3. These were disseminated via Matador Records and Flying Nun Records.

Last year Bailterspace released their first album in thirteen years, called Strobosphere - out on Arch Hill Recordings.
