Chan Marshall A.K.A Cat Power wasn't having the best time in her personal life during the writing and recording of her latest album Sun, out now on Matador. Perhaps that's why she wrote a love letter to something that will never turn its back on anyone: a city, namely Manhattan. The clip features Marshall meandering around its institutional metropolitan haunts: walking through parks, visiting record stores, drinking coffee. The city looks beautiful and she looks happy, which makes us happy. Check it out below.
