The All Seeing Hand Announce Nationwide Tour

Wellington psychedelic trio The All Seeing Hand are gearing up to release their latest album, which is available for stream on their Bandcamp from tomorrow, April 17th, and have just announced a solid nationwide tour throughout April and May to celebrate. The members of the band - Alphabethead, Jonny Marks and Benjamin Knight - all hail from eclectic parts of the sonic stratosphere and thus their live performance is always a thing to behold. These shows will be particularly special as Seth Frightening - who opened for Grizzly Bear at the end of last year - is going on the road with them.

Wellington turntables/drums/throat trio the The All Seeing Hand are embarking on a nationwide tour to announce the impending arrival of their latest album; available for preview from 17 April here.

The All Seeing Hand is comprised of Alphabethead (masterful Turntablist gestated in the Hip Hop battle scene before branching into every direction at once, working everything from orchestral gamelan and Inuit folk music to post-punk and electronica into his extraordinary compositions) Jonny Marks on vocals (a true sonic explorer, traditionally-trained Mongolian throat-singer and high-energy front-person) and Benjamin Knight on drums (trained in the energy of DIY punk and hardcore, tightly binding the whole sound together with drumming that is equal parts driving and frantic).

These elements combine into a band of dissonant, dense beauty and intense live shows that leave observers with an ecstatic mixture of wonder and confusion.

Seth Frightening will be joining The All Seeing Hand on their travels. Seth Frightening’s music is complex and varied but also focused, sometimes direct to the point of rawness. He tells stories with shifting, clouded characters and evasive narrative, speaking as much to our own lives as to the one he himself is lead. This ability to connect, to draw listeners out of their ease and guardedness, speaks as much about the depth and richness of his character as to it does about his soaring and richly textured voice.
