Secret Knives and Glass Vaults National Tour Announced

Wellington's Secret Knives and Glass Vaults are joining forces for a nationwide tour in June/July. Secret Knives is the recording project of Ash Smith who release his excellent debut album Affection in 2010 and is touring nationwide for the first time. More familiar to the touring circuit, Glass Vaults are releasing their debut album Sojourn later this year  -  if you missed it, check out the first single and video 'Ancient Gates' below.  Here are the tour details...

A Low Hum is very proud to announce the very first New Zealand tour of Secret Knives.

After a handful of adored live performances in China late in 2012 and an arresting performance at Camp A Low Hum in February, Secret Knives are for the first time since they first came to attention with the release of The Wolves in 2008, touring New Zealand.

If you haven’t downloaded the Secret Knives debut full length album Affection, released late 2010, you’d be amongst the minority. Its brilliant dream-pop and shoegaze earned it praise from around the world. Like always, you can download it free from bandcamp.

Joining Secret Knives on this jaunt around the country are friends and collaborators, the stunning, Glass Vaults. Having released two critically acclaimed EPs backed up with a tour of the east coast of the US, they’ve just released their new single Ancient Gates with its accompanying mesmerising video .
