Parents Announce Album Release Tour

Auckland hardcore/punk band Parents are soon to release their debut self-titled album and have announced nationwide tour dates to celebrate. Commencing in Auckland next Friday they'll take on the nation's main centres through to November before crossing the ditch for a run of Melbourne dates. PARENTS offers a distinct kind of hardcore punk that will appeal to fans of Converge, Envy and Pg.99.

Formed in 2009, Parents are a mainstay of the New Zealand Punk and Hardcore scene. Underpinned by a distinctive and frenetic energy, their sound blends melody and discordance into an unpredictable cathartic haze. Parents have supported such international acts as Suicidal Tendencies, Touche Amore, Iron Lung, Loma Prieta, Rotten Sound, Burning Love and La Dispute.

Parents are about to release their debut self-titled LP and playing their album release shows in New Zealand.
