New Zealand Music Awards 2013 Winners

The annual New Zealand Music Awards were held last night at Auckland's Vector Arena with Lorde ruling the night, taking away four awards. She was closely followed by R&B singer Aaradhna, who added three more to her collection, and Shapeshifter who picked up two awards. Lawrence Arabia happily won Best Male Solo Artist while Best Alternative Album went to Unknown Mortal Orchestra for his latest release II. The ceremony saw performances from nominees Lorde, Iva Lankam and Aaradhna and a special tribute to Legacy Award recipient Shona Laing performed by Ruby Frost.
