White Poppy is the musical moniker of British Columbia-based multimedia artist Crystal Dorval. She has released a prolific amount of material as White Poppy in the past couple of years, which culminated in her debut, self-titled full length album, released via Not Not Fun Records this past September. The album gradually draws one into an alternate reality of synth-driven positivity and emotionally astute observations, which is a pleasant escape from a reality which is often the opposite.
