Clowns released their debut full length record I'm Not Right at the end of last year and proceeded to play over 20 dates across Australia, so they're well practiced for their live dates in New Zealand. Press release:

Melbourne, Australia’s punk rock chaos merchants CLOWNS are set to pack their knapsacks and board another dodgy low budget airline plane this Summer for a two week whirlwind New Zealand tour which includes an appearance at the renowned Camp A Low Hum Festival.

These four long haired youngsters hail from the sunny bayside suburbs of Melbourne, and blast their brand of hardcore punk rock with a proudly old school style and approach. There’s sonic nods to Circle Jerks, Massappeal, The Bronx and the Hard-Ons, and their ‘nothin’ better to do’ attitude has seen them embrace a true DIY spirit, touring relentlessly off their own bat and self-releasing a series of sold out 7”s.

Whenever and wherever bands can play, Clowns have been there; water parks, ice cream stores, picnic areas, filthy dive bars, festivals, car parks, skate parks and flea ridden living rooms. A 2012 South-East Asian outing and recent dates with Extortion, Guttermouth, M.D.C, The Hard-Ons, No Fun At All and The Smith Street Band as well as a 21 date national headline tour across their home country of Australia through October - November of 2013, Clowns have been in an absolute gig frenzy.

Having dropped their debut LP I’m Not Right in October, 2013,the release has proven to be an imposing debut long-player; full of piss and vinegar, with a title that is a surprisingly poignant observation of the band itself and the rampant punk rock within which promises to offend, motivate and stimulate. Wrapped in radical artwork by legendary Sydney surf/skate artist Ben Brown the album will be available at all upcoming shows.

Make sure to catch Clowns when they hit your town and let them ruin your life.
