Laneway Festival took place this past Monday and was an unmitigated success as far as we're concerned. A lot of the artists seem to be having some down time in Auckland (HAIM reportedly played a secret DJ set on Tuesday; Cat Power reportedly escaped out west) before the Australian leg starts this weekend, but the hip hop contingent, consisting of Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt and Run the Jewels, headed down to Wellington for a combined performance at James Cabaret on Tuesday night.
