Listen: Husk - Black Moth
Thursday 13th March, 2014 9:37AM
A stunning new single has been released by psychedelic rockers Husk. The track 'Black Moth' has been unveiled by the Auckland trio as a preview to their upcoming EP, tipped to be out soon via Dead Orchard Records. In true stoner-rock style the song rips out solid riffs paired with mesmerising vocals from frontman Ukiah Brown, while bassist Robert Bruce and Marshall Berry on drums lay down a great rhythm section to move the song along. The whole thing is also sprinkled with a dash of (what sounds like) tambourine, which adds a certain 1960s charm. Recorded live to tape, the dark and broody track has a vitality that has us looking forward to more to come. Check out 'Black Moth' below and head over to their Bandcamp to pick it up...
