DRI Announce New Zealand Shows
US hardcore/thrash band DRI (Dirty Rotten Imbiciles) have announced two New Zealand shows this May. Emerging from Houston, TX in the early 80s, they released seven albums over a ten year period and while they've been pretty quiet on the studio front since, they have continued to toured consistently through their 30 year career. Now headed our way for shows in Auckland and Wellington - here are the tour details...
D.R.I

Thursday 8th May, Kings Arms Tavern, Auckland

Press Release:
D.R.I - New Zealand Mosh - 2014
For the past 30 years, D.R.I. have quite rightly built themselves a legacy as the epitome of the original aggressive, hardcore-punk thrash sound that has since been copied many times the world over. And now, for the first time ever, the original pioneers of 'crossover thrash' make their long awaited debut to New Zealand shores.
Featuring original members Kurt Brech (vocals) and Spike Cassidy (Guitar), D.R.I are still actively touring, recording and thrashing just as hard and as loud as ever. They might be a little older now, but time hasn't gotten the best of the Dirty Rotten Imbeciles as they continue to overload our senses with the sound that is, and will always remain, uniquely D.R.I.
Coming to Auckland and Wellington for two shows only this May - see you in the Thrash Zone...
