Krautrock-inspired trio Avoid! Avoid are sharing their new eponymous single, which was recorded and mixed by engineer extraordinaire Tex Houston as part of an upcoming album. The group, which formed around nine months ago, is somewhat of a star-studded line up in the indie sphere with Brendan Moran (The Hasslehoff Experiment, The Subliminals) on drums, Steve Reay (Haints Of Dean Hall, The Subliminals) taking charge of guitar and rounding out the three-piece is Sonya Waters (White Swan Black Swan, Fang) on keyboard. Waters says the group have a base in psychosperic drone, using shifting elements of structure and improvisation to create their music. She says the track 'Avoid Avoid' is built around the idea of dodging things that are confronting you. Have a listen below...
