Dylan Carlson, who is perhaps best known for his work as the mainstay of drone-doom band Earth, has released a new track under the solo moniker Drcarlsonalbion. The slow crawling 'Gold I' is the opening track from Carlson's first major soundtrack work, for the foreign-language film Gold. The movie is a "western of sorts" that tracks a group of German settlers who attempt to fine their fortunes in the goldfields of Canada. The 24-track Gold will be out mid-June, in the meantime take a listen to 'Gold I' below...
