Listen: Head Like A Hole - Creedence

Monday 9th June, 2014 11:10AM

Pivotal New Zealand stench-rockers Head Like A Hole are steadily trudging into digital territory by making all their early recordings available on Bandcamp, including stomping new song 'Creedence'. Formed in Wellington in 1990, the group has an epic back-catalogue that they are now sharing along with many of their rarities and b-sides. But not content to simply reflect on the past, the new track 'Creedence' is a taste-tester of a forthcoming album that is promising to be a "rip roaring stonker", following on from 2011's Blood Will Out (the group's first album since 1999). Several of the tracks for the new record were laid down last month on the last ever day of the iconic York Street Studios, before shut its doors for good due to the costs of being located in the increasingly upmarket suburb of Parnell. Have a listen to the cut 'Creedence' below...
