Sting and Paul Simon Announce Co-Headline Show

Monday 30th June, 2014 11:47AM

The classic rock superduo of Sting and Paul Simon are bringing their co-headline show to the Antipodes for a seven-date jaunt next year. The two monumental musicians have been touring together off-and-on for the last few months in a venture they call their "little experiment". The shows so far have seen the veterans (with the support of an enormous backing band) weave their catalogues together to play a series of duets and solo songs including '50 Ways To Leave Your Lover' and 'Every Breathe You Take'. The pair will be gracing New Zealand with one show in Auckland, before heading to Australia for the rest of the tour. Here's the show details...

As long-time friends, the concept for the “On Stage Together” tour originated at the Robin Hood Foundation benefit in 2013 where they performed together for the first time. Both artists, who are known for exploring world rhythms, have pushed the boundaries of popular music and continue to speak to generations of fans.
