Mad Professor Tipped To Play Northern Bass Festival

The official line-up announcement for the Northern Bass festival is due to drop next Wednesday, but the promoter of the event has let slip that pioneering dub producer Mad Professor will be topping the bill along with some other great acts. Over the decades, the Georgetown producer has worked with reggae greats like Lee 'Scratch' Perry and Horace Andy, as well as acts outside the realms of reggae such as trip hop outfit Massive Attack. Northern Bass promoter Gareth Popham is remaining tight-lipped about the rest of the festival, which takes place on the Mangawhai coast over 30th and 31st December, but he did say it has been an "extremely lucky" year...
