Wellington duo Lilah haved melded the layered rhythms of drone with shoegaze-style lyricism to conjure up their new single 'Sharpen My Knives'. The release comes after the two-piece (made up of Louis Reeve and Jo Cain) unveiled their self-titled album earlier this year via capital city label Sonorous Circle, which houses experimental acts such as Seth Frightening and I.ryoko. The echoing 'Sharpen My Knives' is from the pair's forthcoming second album Christmas, that will be released in October and is tipped to be a "celebration of the new spirit of Lilah" according to Reeve.
