Listen: Sleep - The Clarity

An epic new track has been unveiled by stoner doom-metal trio Sleep. Described by the band as "a lyrical follow-up to a lifetime of marijuana enjoyment", the 10-minute opus is the first new music to emerge from the group since Dopesmoker, which was recorded way back in 1996 and then put on ice because their label, London Records, was unhappy with it. The album didn't see the light of day until it was released in 2003. New song 'The Clarity' came about after the group was approached by Adult Swim for its digital single series, but apparently the group has been writing riffs for sometime now, so their could be some future releases on the cards.
