Listen: J Mascis - Wide Awake (Feat. Cat Power)

Dinosaur Jr frontman J Mascis has unveiled beautiful track 'Wide Awake' featuring guest vocals from Cat Power. The acoustic song comes from his forthcoming album Tied To A Star due out 29th August via Subpop, and follows his 2011 debut solo album Several Shades of Why, which featured Kurt Vile and Sophie Trudeau among others. Despite putting out this single with Power aka Chan Marshall, Mascis says not to expect as many guest appearances on his new offering: "The last album had a lot of different people.
