Run The Jewels Tipped To Return To New Zealand

As one of our keen-eyed contributors pointed out this morning, it looks like American hip hop duo Run The Jewels is set to return to New Zealand for one show in January. The duo, which is formed by rappers EL-P and Killer Mike released their self-titled album last year as a digital download, and have just announced via Pitchfork a follow-up album aptly titled Run The Jewels 2, due out late October. Alongside the album news, the pair broadcast details of an epic worldwide tour including a short stop in Auckland for a show at the Town Hall on 10th January, 2015. The last time the duo was in the country was earlier this year when they performed at Laneway Festival in Auckland and then at the Laneway sideshow in Wellington.
