After a 13 year dry spell the world finally has some new music from Aphex Twin aka Richard D. James. The British music mangler has unveiled idiosyncratic cut 'minipops 67 [120.2][source field mix]', from the much-anticipated album SYRO, due out at the end of the month via Warp Records. In a recent interview James said the songs on included on SYRO are from a stockpile of music he had created over the last six years, adding that it will not be a one-off record, but has kicked off a new period of output.
