Laneway Festival 2015 Details Announced
St Jerome's Laneway Festival is returning to Auckland's Silo Park next summer for the fourth year running. The 2015 festival marks the sixth year the show has made its way to New Zealand, since its humble beginnings in Melbourne in 2004. That inaugural Auckland-based festival in 2010 saw audiences corralled down to Britomart to bear witness to performances from the likes of Daniel Johnston, Florence and the Machine, Echo and the Bunnymen and The 3D's. Then in 2011 the festival had a short flirtation with Aotea Square, and the next year it made its new home in Silo Park, where it is nicely settled in. The organisers are keeping tight-lipped on the line-up for next year's festival, which coincides with Auckland Anniversary Day, but here's the details so far...
