Video: Timber Timbre - Grand Canyon

When ominous folk group Timber Timbre unveiled the Chad VanGaalen-animated clip for 'Beat The Drum Slowly' earlier this year, it appeared unbeatable in the surrealism stakes. However, the Canadian four-piece have returned with a cinematic clip just as eerie, if not more so, for the single 'Grand Canyon',  which is also taken from the group's latest album Hot Dreams. Created by Leblanc + Cudmore, the video could be called Lynch-esque, in the way that the term has come to be shorthand for anything beautifully shot, absurdly dreamlike, well-costumed, and featuring red velvet curtains. And while the intercut scenes seem random at first, upon closer inspection they reveal themselves to have a close link with the lyrics. Check it out below...
