Michael Franti and Spearhead Announce Bluesfest Sideshows

Barefoot musician Michael Franti and his band Spearhead will be visiting New Zealand for three shows off the back of their appearance at the Byron Bay Bluesfest in March. The San Francisco-based outfit were last in the country was in 2011 with their heartfelt album The Sound Of Sunshine. Their upcoming visit comes with a raft of bluesfest sideshows including George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, The Gipsy Kings and Beth Hart. Bluesfest Touring’s second sideshow announcement is bursting at the seams with a MASSIVE array of talent, who will be stopping by our major cities as well as Bluesfest Byron Bay in March and April 2015. There are now plenty of options for music enthusiasts around Australasia to get to enjoy the incredible calibre of artists that Bluesfest patrons get to experience each Easter.

Michael Franti will be embarking on a massive tour around his Bluesfest performance with his much loved band Spearhead.
