Video: Jonathan Bree - Weird Hardcore

Auckland musician Jonathan Bree (of The Brunettes) has paired up with director Simon Ward to unveil a truly spooky video for 'Weird Hardcore'. The track is the first single from Bree's second album A Little Night Music, which will be out early next year through indie pop label Lil' Chief Records. The forthcoming album has been informed by ballet scores by Tchaikovsky, orchestral suites by Grieg and Haydn symphonies, music that Bree had absorbed via a stack of inherited records and then reinterpreted into his own free-form classical inspired compositions. This train of thought is evident in the new video which employs ghostly musicians in period attire. Watch below...
