Jurassic 5 Announce New Zealand Tour

Recently reunited hip hop crew Jurassic 5 are heading back to New Zealand in April for three four shows around the country. After re-banding just last year, the six-strong crew found themselves on these shores for a handful of shows and have since released new single 'The Way We Do It' (which was produced by hip hop icon Heavy D) signalling more things to come from the beloved Los Angeles outfit. Here's the details for their upcoming tour, which comes as part of a string of Byron Bay Bluesfest sideshows...

Update 10/03/15: The Christchurch show on Wednesday 8th April has been cancelled and some show dates have been revised. Tour dates are now as follows:

They gave us timeless tracks such as ‘Quality Control’, ‘What’s Golden’, ‘Day at The Races’ and ‘Thin Line’ featuring Nelly Furtado before they parted ways in 2007. Although the band was out of sight they were certainly not out of mind and their lore grew on soundtracks, and in video games. After a huge sold out tour in early 2014 this distinctive six-piece are back and showing us what Hip Hop should sound like.

Jurassic 5 have released their first song since the reunion, ‘The Way We Do It’. It features production from the late Heavy D and a sample of the White Stripes Get Behind Me Satan single ‘My Doorbell’. View the new single "The Way We Do It" here.
