Mastodon Tipped To Play New Zealand Show

Sludge-rock heavyweights Mastodon are tipped to be playing one New Zealand show in March. The Atlanta four-piece, who also just unveiled a delightful Christmas sweater, posted the Auckland date on their Facebook page along with a slew of shows in Australia. The group have been here twice before, supporting Slayer in 2007 and for the Big Day Out in 2010, but the upcoming visit would be their first headline show on these shores and follows the release of their sixth studio album, Once More 'Round The Sun, which came out in June through Reprise Records.
