Francois and The Atlas Mountains Announce Three Shows

Afro-influenced indie pop outfit Francois and The Atlas Mountains are planning a sojourn to New Zealand for three shows in January. The British-based ensemble is led by French native Francois Marry (a touring member of Scottish indie pop band Camera Obscura) and recently released their fourth album Piano Ombre through Domino Records. Their visit to these shores will see the group traverse Wellington and Auckland, as well as playing a set a Chronophonoum festival in Coromandel. Here's the details...

Ooooh la la! Last in New Zealand many moons ago as trumpet player for Scottish indie-loves Camera Obscura, France's favourite son Francois has since been honing his own craft, signing to Domino Records, releasing a handful of utterly delightful of albums, and gadding about with his Atlas Mountains.

Now, finally, New Zealand is getting a little taste of the good stuff! Here for a short visit, you can catch Frànçois and The Atlas Mountains live at last.
