Listen: Death And The Maiden - War Dance (UTR Premiere)

Dunedin trio Death and the Maiden are poised to release their self-titled debut record later this month, and in anticipation they have unveiled shadowy single 'War Dance'. The three-piece pulls together the talents of Lucinda (bass guitar, vocals), Danny Brady (synth and drum programming) and Hope Robertson (guitar, vocals, drums) who as a group craft darkly hypnotic tunes that explore themes of love, loss and decay. The full seven-track album is due out on 20th March through local label Fishrider Records, in the meantime soak up the moody 'War Dance' below...
