god bows to math are previewing their long-awaited sophomore album Brighter Futures ahead of its official release later this month via Muzai. The Auckland-based trio initially started laying down the album mid-2012, and recorded the bulk of the tracks with Nick Roughan (Skeptics) in 2013. Then to finish it off they had some additional sessions with local engineer Nick Cunningham last year and employed the mastering services Donnie Miller at Nowhere Studios (Brisbane, Australia). Written across several years of social unrest and political turmoil, the nine-track album is laced with the same acerbic tones found in their 2011 self-titled effort.
