Watch/Listen: Miss June - Matriarchy (UTR Premiere)

Auckland foursome Miss June have let loose the killer eponymous single from their forthcoming debut EP, Matriarchy. The EP was recorded at Munki Studios by James Goldsmith, while Andrew Wilson (Die! Die! Die!) came on board as a co-producer alongside Goldsmith and the group's frontwoman Annabel Liddell, who also stretched her creative muscles in the visual realm and created a video clip for the 'Matriarchy' single. Branded as an "epic scheme of procrastination", the DIY video stitches together online clips with home-filmed footage that people sent to her.

The Matriarchy EP is was mastered by Chris Townend and is set to be released early May, however the punchy title-track is available now on the Miss June Bandcamp page  to download for free. But before you head over there to nab it, check this out...
