Stream So Laid Back Country China's New Album 'With Knees Of Honey In Goodbye Canyon'

Last month desert-drone outfit So Laid Back Country China shared the ingenious video for single 'Open Eyed', which had us looking forward to the release of their promised full-length debut album. Now the Wellington group has returned with said album, coming out under the lengthy and perplexing name With Knees Of Honey In Goodbye Canyon.

The expansive nine-track album, which was influenced by the Nevada Desert, Utah Canyons and instrumental guitarists William Tyler and Robbie Basho, was written in isolation by Michael Keane and then bought to the rest of the band to flesh out. It was then recorded and mixed by James Goldsmith at the capital city's Munki Studios and The Blue Room, before heading to Mike Gibson for mastering at Munki Studios. Take a listen below...
