Video: Mastodon - Asleep In the Deep

Mastodon, who tore things up at their Auckland show back in March, have unleashed a new feline-themed video for 'Asleep In The Deep'. The Skinner-directed clip follows a furry friend on a mind-bending trip after it consumes a bunch of psychedelics, the concept having come from the film-maker's curiosity of what cats actually get up to in the dark of night while everyone is asleep. "Cats have a very mysterious myth to them and I thought it would be cool to explore that, as little nocturnal heroes," he says. 'Asleep In The Deep' is from the Atlantan outfits' latest album Once More ‘Round the Sun. Watch the clip below...
