Video: Yo La Tengo - Friday I'm In Love (The Cure Cover)

Yo La Tengo have knocked it out the park with their striking cover of The Cure's 'Friday I'm In Love', which will feature on their upcoming album Stuff Like That There. The track comes with an oddball video directed by Jason Woliner that follows vocalist Georgia Hubley as she strolls around nonchalantly singing while apocalyptic chaos reigns all around her in the form of giant falling hearts. Stuff Like That There is due out in August via Matador and is a collection of re-recorded versions of some of their old songs along with covers of Hank Williams, the Parliaments, Sun Ra, the Lovin' Spoonful and more.
