Video: The Phoenix Foundation - Mountain

The afro-kraut soaked single 'Mountain' from The Phoenix Foundation's forthcoming album has been paired with an aptly cult-themed video. Directed by Sam Kristofski, the beautifully shot clip centres around an aging guru and his circle of sweet young followers. According to bandmember Samuel Flynn-Scott, all the material for the video was captured on just 16 minutes of 35mm film. He adds: "Not only does this creepy cultish dreamworld perfectly realise the Jodorowsky inspired spiritual freak out of Mountain it also encapsulates the pseudo-religious movement that is GUYD.
