Tour Information
Ripened in Brighton and driven by a passionate endeavour for a fresh, intense metal sound, ARCHITECTS set out in 2004 when Tom and his drummer brother Dan gathered some eager and like-minded guys around them. ARCHITECTS released their fierce debut album “Nightmares” in 2006. A schedule of nonstop touring saw the band mature and evolve whilst carving out their fan base in the UK. Their following albums Ruin, Hollow Crown and The Here And Now put the Brighton quintet on the map of modern
metal and saw their music spread across the globe.

While it takes other bands years to even write a record, ARCHITECTS released The Here And Now, wrote new albumDaybreaker”, toured the globe with their friends in Bring Me The Horizon, then headlined the UK twice and played countless high profile European festivals including Reading/Leeds, Rock am Ring/im Park, Nova Rock, Hellfest and Sonisphere, just to mention a few. Right after wrapping up the recording of “Daybreaker” they got back into the bus to be direct support for Rise Against and played in front of up to 10.000+ people a night. Even though the acclaimed The Here And Now got them daytime radio and TV rotation in their native UK, the band felt it was time to shed their collective skins and reinvent themselves with an amalgamation of their very best trademark. They felt it was time to make a bold statement. Daybreaker is that statement: a sweeping show of strength in terms of how intense, colourful, dynamic and multifarious modern metal can actually be.

Do not miss one of the most original and expressive acts in modern metal when they arrive on New Zealand shores for the very first time, supported tour-wide by local alternative metal masters NEW WAY HOME.

Additional info for under 18s:

Due to the very vocal demand for under 18's to be accommodated on the ARCHITECTS New Zealand tour, we have come up with a solution that we hope will accommodate this demand. A limited run of 50 tickets per show will be made available for under 18's to get in without their parent/guardian having to pay for a ticket i.e. you buy your ticket, your parent/guardian gets in FREE. As both venues are licensed, under 18's will still need to be accompanied by their legal guardians, and anyone who purchases these tickets and shows up without their legal guardian will be turned away and their money not refunded. After this limited run of tickets has sold out, under 18's will still be able to purchase tickets and attend the shows, but their legal guardians will also have to buy tickets and accompany them.

These limited tickets will be available tomorrow morning, Friday July 6th, from 9am, along with the first run of regular tickets going on-sale. We hope under 18 fans of the band take advantage of this deal, as we will not be making any venue changes or adding any specific all ages shows. Given the demand already shown we expect these tickets won't last, so get your folks on-board and get in quick!
