New Year’s Eve at San Fran: Early and late shows..............

San Fran, DJ Bill E, Teeth and Bunnies on Ponies with Garage Project invite you to celebrate the end of 2014 with gourmet BBQ treats on the deck from 6pm-11pm and great music happening inside the venue – the bands Teeth and Bunnies on Ponies followed by DJ Bill E’s legendary Hang The DJ NYE showcase.

So make the San Fran your New Year’s Eve destination. Doors open at 6pm with Teeth taking the stage around 7.30. Then it’s Bunnies on Ponies at 9pm and DJ Bill E from 10pm on through until 4am on the morning of January 1, 2015.

Tickets will be available from Under The Radar for $20 – or there’ll be door sales on the night for $25.

The ticket price for the bands allows you to stay on for the DJ set at no extra charge. There will be door sales ($25) for Hang The DJ from 9.30pm.

Bunnies on Ponies is the brainchild of Samuel Flynn Scott, Teeth is the brand new project from Luke Buda. Both bands are supergroups of great Wellington talent. Scott and Buda are known for their work as part of The Phoenix Foundation, here’s a chance to hear their distinct writing voices with their own pet projects. Both bands also feature Phoenix Foundation’s bass player, Tom Callwood with Craig Terris on drums for the Bunnies and David Long (guitar) and Ant Donaldson (drums) completing the Teeth line-up.

Bill E’s Hang The DJ set has been a popular New Year’s Eve event across the last decade. He’s no stranger to Wellington audiences with his regular Atomic and 24 Hour Party People club nights.

With great original live music that takes in grunge-era melodies and Krautrock rhythms through to Bill E’s wise curation of all the shining moments from post-punk and nostalgic synth-pop gems this is the right way to say farewell to 2014 and bring in the new year in the right way. Oh, and did we mention the food' Be there early for the gourmet BBQ treats. The perfect complement to that mighty fine Garage Project beer.
