THE SMITH STREET BAND ANNOUNCE FIRST EVER NEW ZEALAND SHOW

August through December will see The Smith Street Band tour the world again, and for the very first time the Melbourne troubadours have added New Zealand into their schedule, stopping off in Auckland this October. The huge run for the band kicks off with their biggest European tour to date – including performances at the prestigious Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK. They’ll then spend all of September at home completing their most far reaching tour of Australia, before hopping the ditch on October 10th for a very special, one night only appearance at the Kings Arms Tavern.

It’s been a huge 12 months for the Melbourne four-piece, touring relentlessly across Australia, the USA, UK and Europe. The bands third full-length Throw Me In The River was released to critical acclaim in late 2014, landing them triple js album of the week, a top 20 ARIA debut, the bands first appearance in the triple j Hottest 100 and a slot on Australias premier festival, Splendour in the Grass.
