Anthonie Tonnon

After a year that has seen him tour with Nadia Reid in Europe and The Veils in the USA, as well as playing the Others Way Festival in at home, Anthonie Tonnon is doing two one-off year end shows in the North Island.

Anthonie Tonnon is an outsider pop songwriter and performer from Dunedin. His most recent album, Successor, picked up nominations for both the APRA Silver Scroll and the Taite Prize, and has seen him tour widely around the USA, EU, and Australasia, including recent tours with folk heiress Nadia Reid through Europe, and The Veils in North America. His live set combines a performance art-inspired approach to stagecraft, featuring sleight of hand, home-soldered technology, and naive dance.
