Into Orbit celebrate the release of their second full-length album ‘Unearthing’ at San Fran Wellington on Friday 10 February, joined by special guests His Masters Voice.

Into Orbit formed in 2013 in Wellington, New Zealand born from a collaboration between guitarist Paul Stewart and drummer Ian Moir. Describing their music as ‘experimental rock’, Into Orbit’s sound runs the gamut from post-rock and soundtrack/soundscape, to metal, prog, doom, noise and drone.

Into Orbit seeks to evoke moving narratives via textural suites. They inject unorthodox time signatures into songs that counterpoint sweet-tempered and stentorian passages. His Master’s Voice

His Masters Voice call their style of music “The Devils Blues”. Listen to their 2014 album ‘Possession’ and you will hear influences from the greats of classic HEAVY rock but with a contemporary energy and relevance.
