We are three multi-instrumentalists who have played at various locales in Auckland over the past few months. We think we invented the term 'post-folk' to descibe our style, which is a little psychedelic, a little ambient, and sometimes a little too morose; however, it's fairly grounded in folk-ish-ness. We admire a great range of artists, listed in a big meaty clump on our Myspace page, but there's a lot of influences in our musical stew, which is usually the case. Know, then, that we like flutes and piano accordions, cheesy Rhodes, and ornamental basslines; body percussion, and lots of jingling bell-y sorts of things.We are hoping to put together an EP this year, so... yeah! Post-folk.
