Brand-new and freshly unpackaged, Hit Deluxe* is a crafty creative collaboration from Gareth Bailey, Liam Moore and Matt Rapley.

As the largest storm to hit Auckland town in 20 years rolled over the city, the trio channelled storm technology. Liam's (MC Linestein's) lyrical leanings gelled with the electronic wizardry of Gareth Bailey (Gkb) and like a lightning bolt in the night their irie-driven sound was born.

There'd been tracks stored deep in the treasure chest of Gkb's hard drive (from as long ago as 2002) just awaiting to be unlocked by the right key and it's come in the form of MC Linestein (Liam Moore). His ability to kill the mic with conscious rhymes combined with Gkb's driving beats and synth-heavy riffs has caused this explosion of mystical musical madness.

All three are also members of dub band KingHit and work with them in creative connectedness. KingHit's vocalist Edward Waaka is often on the mic as guest vocalist bringing his unique soulful melodies. Hit Deluxe* coming from the future...
