We arrived on the Auckland scene in early 2005. Mostly of west Auckland heritage, we came together with a feisty passion of music. Remains of a Day are Ambient Metal with a twist of progressive rock, and whatever other label goes. Lyrically expressing themes of religion, war, abnormal human behaviour, and philosophy
We have made it our goal in life to take our music seriously.
It has been interesting to watch our music evolve over time. Over the last year and a half our music has changed a lot, but changed for the better. Becoming more experimental and branching out from medians we’d all become so accustomed to using.
-Remains of a day- to date is busy working up a catalogue of tracks with variety and each to its own personal flavours.
