If I could only say one thing about Fun House it would be "empty hyperbole". They've been playing "pretentious metaphor" music together for a year and a bit. Members Chris and Devin, otherwise known as "unoriginal, lame and ultimately corny nicknames" went to Papakura High School together but didn't really know each other until they met after a Kurt Cobain tribute gig in April 07' which had an "insert exaggerated proportion" effect on their lives.
After a couple of planned High School gigs went bung they reacted to the disappointment by traveling from Auckland to the Barbarella in Rotorua and playing a gig they'd been offered on myspace by a band they'd never heard of. It was choice! :)
