About Aum from Hamilton
Aum is a two piece electronic production duo based in Hamilton. The two producers have been making tunes together since the beginning of 2008 and are constantly refining their sound which ranges from Ambient organic textures to Dub Step, and Drum n Bass.
Aum's live sets continue this blend of genres into a morphing, intertwining experience, creating a thought provoking yet very danceable atmosphere.
Aum has recently played support for Optimus Grymes album release tour, and played at 'Grounded' in Wellington which was host to 22 international and national DJs and producers including Truth (NZ DubStep Producers) and Damien (US DJ).
Aum is also a member of The Collective, who has made a solo effort of re-establishing the Drum n Bass scene/club culture in Hamilton and exposing local DJs and producers.
Aum has an EP release (High Quality MP3 Only) available at www.amplifier.co.nz (Keyword - aum) and is looking at releasing an album by the end of 2009.
Aum will also be doing more live gigs, showcasing thier upcoming new tracks.
