About The Skinks from Auckland
THE SKINKS formed in the summer of 2006, all hailing from the west coast. The founding members David, Drew, & Sarah, met whilst studying music. On the completion of their diplomas they all went their separate ways. David continued with his racing career, Drew went surfing, & Sarah went home to her motherland Switzerland. Upon Sarah's return to NZ they met again to form THE SKINKS. They have since found the drummer they had been looking for, one Paul Burrnell, a funky groove cat. Now with the line up complete they have started preparing to record their debut album. A groove bassed sound of dark & light, keep your ears & eyes out for these guys.
