The Stevie Ray, Cream And Hendrix Experience is a New Zealand based tribute show to three of the great power trio’s: Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble , The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Cream. The songs are performed with power and passion, the lineup comprises three well - known Hamilton musicians: Simon Koretz (guitar teacher, guitarist - 8forty8) on guitar and lead vocals, Simon played guitar for former Deep Purple and Black Sabbath legend Glenn Hughes @ the G -TARanaki International Guitar Festival in July 2008. Alan Grady (drum teacher, ex Knightshade & Blackjack) on the drums and back-up vocals, and Derek Shaw (guitar teacher, Siren, A.K.A) on the bass and back-up vocals, all three are well-seasoned, professional musicians with a common love for classic blues/rock. This is a tribute show performed with pride and energy and captures the spirit of the music of Stevie, Jimi and Cream.
