Geneva is a deep, passionate, mysterious and beautiful person. She has been named one of the most talented up and coming artists in New Zealand. Often likened to other New Zealand singer-songwriters, Geneva is an artist going places. Her music is a blended mixture of many different artists she has come to admire over the years.
From a young age Geneva adored music. She decided to pursue her love for music in completing her Diploma in Contemporary Music Performance in 2008 from MAINZ. She then launched her incredible debut EP 'Everyone' in August 2009.
Geneva released her first single Everyone, recorded in the esteemed Roundhead Studios in August 2009. It was played on Life FM to rave reviews, landing in the Top 10 for several weeks. After the success of her first single, she released her second single Like You. Achieving high rotation for a period of months, it was in the Top 10 for several weeks. She is now ready to unveil her new image and her highly awaited new single Scream.
Geneva is set to film a music video with BaylyMoore who have a track record working with artists such as Midnight Youth, Jason Kerrison and Boh Runga.
Geneva has performed with Nathan King, Crescendo Mafia, Tokyo Keys and many others. She has cultivated several influences over the years; these include recent bands/artists, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Florence and The Machine, Brooke Fraser, Jonathan Boulet and A Fine Frenzy. And also vocal divas from her younger years, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.
With a unique look and sound Geneva and band are a dynamic team. Geneva has just started to scratch the surface and is already in demand for gigs and tours. It’s easy to see she has what it takes to take New Zealand by storm.
