Shark Jump Thief, a new band with a wake-up, progressive rock sound, has just emerged from the studio with their debut 3 track EP.
While the band is new, the songs are energising, upbeat an extremely sharp.
From the punchy, catchy hooks of Lean On through the musically exciting Blood & Days of Gloria, the music is heavy on guitar and vocally deep. This is in spite of crisp and powerful drumming throughout.
The foursome from Auckland completed their recording with award winning engineer Andrew Buckton in December 2010. The video for the first single from the EP, Blood & Days of Gloria, is due for release in late February 2011.
