Downfall Of Humanity

About Downfall Of Humanity from Auckland

Since the dawn of time it has been written in the stones that a great evil would one day take form, and scour the world of all its innocence. A terrible beast that could only find true purpose when the 5 signs of the apocalypse drew near, would challenge all the non believers as its sound would break the world asunder. That beast could be no other than a metal band. And those 5, the bringers of the end, would inevitably join forces to form the Downfall Of Humanity...

The booming of thunder and the flash of lightning birthed a man with inhuman apathy, since his creation he was destined to be the fastest guitarist on the planet. Bringing solos with the speed and power of the elemental forces that exuded him, Alex Carleton bears superluminal death on the nonbelivers.

From the ashes of a burned down slaughterhouse rose Ben Pegman, like a thunderous meaty phoenix drenched in gore - bass guitar in hand. His face solemn with the secrets he guards, he is honourbound to the band and masks his tortured past behind cold unblinking eyes.

From the death-pits of Laingholm a lumbering giant of a man, like none the world had seen - tore open the land, the earth trembled before him. With a shattering scream he signaled doom to all the traitors of mankinds ultimate purpose, and Daniel Carleton strode off into the darkness leaving everything behind him in smouldering ruins.

An altar to the metal gods - the Drums - tower over man and his creations alike, striking fear in the hearts of all but those of the strongest will. Growing up stealing food from ninja, Ben Bakker became nimblest of foot and fastest of hand - assets upon the giant drumkit of Downfall Of Humanity. He fears little, and bravely wields drumsticks made from ancient samurai kantana hilts to tame this beast of the beat.

Disguised as a hobo and hidden from the world, only one of such great wisdom could be the final sign of mans undoing. A timeless psion and once social net-worker for the lords of past. His only mistake, murdering the band's previous rhythm guitarist, proved to be his final. Bryce Patten slayer of kings is the final piece of the puzzle. The sky shall rain fire as his guitar shreds the fabric of time itself.

The hands of the Metal Gods brought these five together, in Western Road, Laingholm - the most brutal part of West Auckland, or indeed the World.
